Although my last 16 years have been in a medical office, my extensive skill-set allows me to be an asset to any office setting. My healthcare experience began in 1998 when I started working at an Internal Medicine Group as a front desk representative for 9 Physicians. As time progressed I was selected to move into the Insurance and Bookkeeping position which included batching billings for submission to the Insurance companies, posting of all patient and insurance payments and follow-up of any insurance denials and/or patient questions. In 2004 I was approached by upper management and offered a co-manager position that I accepted. During my co-management I was mainly in control of AR/AP and bank reconciliation at which time I uncovered hundreds of thousands of dollars in embezzlements by 2 separate employees who were previously in Management positions. This information was given to the lead physician and appropriate actions were taken and the monies were recovered. In 2006 I received the full responsibility of Office Manager and was responsible for the daily operations of the medical office. With all of this extensive experience it is a win-win situation for any organization that I may be a part of. I am focused, driven and believe in Mission, Vision and Values of your Organization. In my most recent years I have been the go-to person for other clinics, managers, physicians and Corporate individuals for system questions and assistance with training on new systems or existing systems. I completed Super User training for Epic Cadence and am qualified to assist others in their training.
