Minnesota Establishes COVID-19 Telehealth Equipment Grant

On July 13, Representative Rob Ecklund (DFL) introduced HF 12XX. This bill establishes a grant program in response to COVID-19 to reimburse for the purchase of telehealth equipment. Those eligible for the grant program, established by the Department of Employment and Economic Development, includes community health clinics, critical access hospitals, local public health departments, county boards, physician practices, and nursing facilities. There is $2,000,000 appropriated in fiscal year 2021 from the coronavirus relief fund for this grant. Read the bill.
